Rory and Craig Show Premieres Next Week

We here at RoryandCraig.com are proud to announce our newest endeavor: a new show for Channel 101. It's called Rory and Craig Show, and it's about us living together, and meeting some kooky friends and stuff (we haven't worked out a smooth and sell-able synopsis yet). Basically it has us, and some sweet new animation in it. We're definitely really proud of this one. The first episode has a guest appearance by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The premiere is Wednesday , February 4th at Channel 101: NY. *New Venue* 92YTribeca (200 Hudson St.) 8:30pm. $5.

Come to the show and support our stupidity.

More Digital Abuse

Matt Lauer talks about how creepy I am on Today Show segment. "I" meaning people who harass people through texts. M. Lauer doesn't really have anything against me, he and I are still good friends.

By the way...the pink suit I am wearing was created by Stan Winston Studios, which did FX for Terminator, Edward Scissorhands and a bunch of other awesome movies.

Craig Teaches Teenagers About Harassment

No, I am not touring schools explaining the rights and wrongs of interoffice conduct. That woud be ridiculous. Instead I am dressed up as a huge pink cell phone in a new commercial by Ad Council. It was featured in the New York Times yesterday.

Bad Press (Bad as in Good) 2008

2008 was a good year for Rory & Craig: they both got new shoes in the last days of the year, and have also gotten some cool press. Thanks to everyone for checking out our stuff, and look out for lots of new stuff coming out in '09 -- including a new show for Channel 101.

Here's the good news:

The Apiary Emergent Voices of 2008.
The apiary featured us, and our video (f)unemployment -- Resume Roundup in their year end wrap. "...we single out videos featuring local comics and performers who have either had a breakout year or are standing on the cusp of something. Each of them has consistently entertained us on stage and have tingled the part of our brain that senses impending good fortune."

Also, in December, the Apiary mentioned our video Rory and Craig Go to a Concert, saying, "The output of rising stars Rory and Craig is looking more and more like an Adult Swim series. Perhaps Turner should enlist their talents before someone else does." (Apiary Link)

Comedy Central Insider - If He Were Dead, Woody Allen Would be Rofling in his Grave

The Comedy Central Insider gave The One Word Woody Allen Impression some love, saying, "Once every generation, an impression comes along that so neatly sums up a personality, the impression becomes as iconic as the original figure. Oops, I meant to say it happens twice every generation. I guess it already happened once with the Tina Fey/Sarah Palin thing. And, as this video attests, it obviously happened again..."

Time Out NY - Comedy: The best (and worst) of 2008
Craig's improv Group, bangs, was mentioned for their performance with Robin Williams. "Most exciting surprise guest: When Robin Williams showed up at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in November asking if he could perform, Harold team Bangs was about to take the stage. Not only was the audience treated, but eight comics got to play with a legend." Craig's post about that show.

Thanks so much everyone. And have a happy, healthy new year. From the Rory and Craig Team (Rory and Craig).
