I wrote this new College Humor Original. If you didn't think my goal for the year was to bring puns back into the mainstream, you were sorely misinformed.

Following 300th Victory, Randy Johnson Returns Healthy Back To Local Man

My name was used in an Onion sports article, which I'm pretty psyched about. It's also good to see Randy Johnson's $100 smile.

Check the article here.

Honest Graduation Song

I make an appearance in this new College Humor video. I play a post-college friend, and am seen at a coffee shop. Behind the scenes inside scoop: my character is drinking a tall mocha latte (which I would never drink).

Butter Water T-Shirts

Meryl Stebel designed these sweet Butter Water shirts. I just ordered one. With shipping it cost about $25. It's an American Apparel shirt, and you can customize the color, and size and everything if you want. Women's shirts are a dollar less.

Butter Water

I wrote and directed this new UCB Original, for our Maude Team, Gramp's. I'm really happy with how it came out.

Shot by Brandon Bassham. Translation and narration by Atsuko Tanabe and Marcus Bishop-Wright. Starring Elaine Carroll, Jim Santangeli, and myself. Product label by Meryl Stebel.

Video nerd note: I got the VHS look by printing to DV tape and playing it into a VCR, recording it onto VHS, and playing it back to DV Tape.

The guys over at Landline TV made an Obama/Entourage spoof. I play Turtle. To get into character I bought $3,000 worth of Nike Air Force Ones and did nothing for 6 weeks.

They Blinded Us With Science

Rory and Craig's Senior film from college, was chosen as a pick of the month by the Imagine Science Film Festival. We are of course both surprised and honoured (british style). Thank you scientists for picking our movie that we made so long ago. Hopefully it will teach young scientists the true meaning of making dance serums, dancing robots, and weird bosses.

Spacestronauts

I directed and edited a new web series by Mark and Ari, called Spacestronauts. Here’s an episode — I make a guest appearance as NASA. These were all improvised, so the editing was a task, but I’m really happy with the look of them. You can see all of them at Mark and Ari’s website.

Fiesta Fiesta!

The videos I made in an effort to win a Ford Fiesta were a success; UCBTourCo will be in possession of a new car late in April. I can honestly say this is the first car I have ever won...and I didn't even have to take part in a reality TV series.

Check out the videos in the post below.

Ford Fiesta Party

Below are two videos I wrote and shot for the Upright Citizens Brigade Touring Company. We're trying to win some free Ford Fiestas to travel around the country in style.

Rory and Craig wake up to find that the hip hop dance and theory class they teach has been cancelled. Luckily for them, breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Unfortunately, this was not voted back at Channel 101, it was deemed "too pure of heart, and R and B influenced." But, we will continue to make more episodes. Enjoy.

Our show premiered at Channel 101 last night, and was voted into Prime Time. So, we'll be back next month with a new episode. Please enjoy the first episode below.

Rory and Craig need to get in shape to visit their dads at Muscle Beach. Will they be able to do it? Maybe with the help of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

We here at RoryandCraig.com are proud to announce our newest endeavor: a new show for Channel 101. It's called Rory and Craig Show, and it's about us living together, and meeting some kooky friends and stuff (we haven't worked out a smooth and sell-able synopsis yet). The premiere is Wednesday , February 4th at Channel 101: NY. *New Venue* 92YTribeca (200 Hudson St.) 8:30pm. $5.

More Digital Abuse

Matt Lauer talks about how creepy I am on Today Show segment. "I" meaning people who harass people through texts. M. Lauer doesn't really have anything against me, he and I are still good friends.

By the way...the pink suit I am wearing was created by Stan Winston Studios, which did FX for Terminator, Edward Scissorhands and a bunch of other awesome movies.

Craig Teaches Teenagers About Harassment

No, I am not touring schools explaining the rights and wrongs of interoffice conduct. That woud be ridiculous. Instead I am dressed up as a huge pink cell phone in a new commercial by Ad Council. It was featured in the New York Times yesterday.

Bad Press (Bad as in Good) 2008

2008 was a good year for Rory & Craig: they both got new shoes in the last days of the year, and have also gotten some cool press. Thanks to everyone for checking out our stuff, and look out for lots of new stuff coming out in '09 -- including a new show for Channel 101.

Here's the good news:

The Apiary Emergent Voices of 2008.
The apiary featured us, and our video (f)unemployment -- Resume Roundup in their year end wrap. "...we single out videos featuring local comics and performers who have either had a breakout year or are standing on the cusp of something. Each of them has consistently entertained us on stage and have tingled the part of our brain that senses impending good fortune."

Also, in December, the Apiary mentioned our video Rory and Craig Go to a Concert, saying, "The output of rising stars Rory and Craig is looking more and more like an Adult Swim series. Perhaps Turner should enlist their talents before someone else does." (Apiary Link)

Comedy Central Insider - If He Were Dead, Woody Allen Would be Rofling in his Grave

The Comedy Central Insider gave The One Word Woody Allen Impression some love, saying, "Once every generation, an impression comes along that so neatly sums up a personality, the impression becomes as iconic as the original figure. Oops, I meant to say it happens twice every generation. I guess it already happened once with the Tina Fey/Sarah Palin thing. And, as this video attests, it obviously happened again..."

Time Out NY - Comedy: The best (and worst) of 2008
Craig's improv Group, bangs, was mentioned for their performance with Robin Williams. "Most exciting surprise guest: When Robin Williams showed up at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in November asking if he could perform, Harold team Bangs was about to take the stage. Not only was the audience treated, but eight comics got to play with a legend." Craig's post about that show.

Thanks so much everyone. And have a happy, healthy new year. From the Rory and Craig Team (Rory and Craig).
