Dogpocalypse (D-Day Plus a Million)

Finally. Disney is harking back to the days when The Taco Bell Chihuahua was all the rage. They are releasing the much anticipated (by me) movie, Beverly Hills Chihuahua.

Did you know that Chihuahua's fought alongside Aztec Warriors back in the day?

Did you know that when Chihuahuas intermingle, they wear headdresses, while dancing and rapping together?

Did you know that the Paris-Hilton-looking Chihuahua pictured below is considered 'hot 'among Chihuahuas, and that they expect humans to be jealous of said hotness?

You Can find out for yourself by clicking this link: Beverly Hills Chihuahua Trailer.

If you're not already sold on this movie, check out the all-star cast that voices these amazing animals: Salma Hayek (Wild Wild West), Drew Barrymore (50 First Dates), Jamie Lee Curtis (My Girl 2), Andy Garcia (Godfather: Part III), and many more.

This is the perfect formula for a movie that will freak out a generation of young children. I see many sequels on the horizon.

Andromeda Strain - Brain Drain

A&E made a new TV Movie of Michael Crichton's book Andromeda Strain. It was totally graphic and violent, so my evil personae, Greg Lowin, took over during the taping of last night's Best Night Ever. Enjoy.

What to Do With Your Stimulus Check

Well it has been a few weeks since the economic stimulus checks went out. If you still haven’t spent yours, it’s probably because you couldn’t think of what to buy. To help indecisive taxpayers, I’ve prepared a list of some of this season’s hottest items retailing for around $300.

Four Honey Baked Hams - Whether you’re stocking up for future holidays or just want to have a big fe ast today, these hams look and taste great.

A Nice Bull Whip - A must have for any cattle rancher. Not a cattle rancher? Well, pick one of these up to show your enthusiasm for the new Indiana Jones Picture: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

A 1947 Cadillac Flying Goddess Hood Ornament - Whether you are restoring a 1947 Cadillac or you’re just a big fan of the art deco design aesthetic, your collection wont be complete without this little beauty.

A Custom 2 on 1 style, Bobble Head Set - Do you have a best friend, spouse or other loved one, who you would like to cartoonishly immortalize standing next to you? Then you’ll want to get yourself one of these. What's that, No one loves you? How about two of you!

A Gold Plated Basketball Trophy – Whether you recently won a basketball championship, or want to highlight the poetic form of a regulation size basketball, you’ll want to save a place on the mantle for one of these.

I hope I represented all demographics. Happy Shopping!

Family Feud, Dude (or Survey Says: Awesome)

It was recently announced that Al Roker will be the new host of the Prime Time 'Celebrity Family Feud.' To prep for his new hosting duties, Al Roker and a group of rag-tag New Yorkers met at the Hilton Hotel yesterday, to do some practice rounds of the Feud. I was one of the lucky few.

This was the coolest thing ever. A bunch of other people from the UCB Theater were there as well, and we got to pretend we were celebrity families playing Family Feud. I felt pretty good about my performance in the first game of the morning, and got to play the Fast Money round with Jon Gutierrez...and we rocked the crap out of it. Al Roker was making puns left and right, and I appreciated every one of them. It was a day to remember.

Also, I got a video of us together; Al Roker thinks we're taking a still photo. Note: after we took the picture, he said 'groovy.' It's below.

Bangs

Bangs, my new group at The UCB Theater, had its first show this week, and it was a great time. A video of the show was put online, so if you want to watch 26 minutes of improv on your computer screen, you now have the chance to do that. Good Luck.

Note: Part of the opening is cut off for some reason.

Buy This Product

This is an actual product, and I truly support it. Let's face it, kids hate brushing their teeth (kids are so precious), and we really can't blame them. Number one, brushing your teeth is very physical, and who wants to do a physical activity right when you wake up, or right before bed. And secondly, toothpaste doesn't taste like candy. That's where Travel Candy Toothbrush comes in. It's like training wheels for the teeth of the youth.

Kids will stop complaining that their arms hurt while brushing, because they'll be too focused on grating the sour candy over their teeth and gums. And after a couple of months of using this product, they'll be ready to move on to the real thing. Kudos to the candy corporation!

Politics as Usuals

Here's a new Best Night Ever for May 12th. It took me and Josh Lay, the producer at BNE, about 45 minutes to come up with a joke about the man with the prosthetic leg going up that electronic ramp on American Gladiator. It was definitely a notable TV moment of the night, but I really didn't want to be insulting to that guy (who happened to be a paralympic gold medalist). Hope it came out ok.

Another note: American Gladiator is still a ton of fun to watch.

Also, below is a video I helped Mike Still write. It's an ad for Moveon.org's Bush McCain Challenge. I love important scientists.

This Video is Sick (Literally)

Here's my new Best Night Ever. My allergies have been bothering me all this week, and while writing and filming this podcast my allergies turned on me and became a full-on cold. The things I do for my art (art = watching TV and making fun of it).

Also some news: My improv group Twelve Thousand Dollars has been dissolved. I am bummed that I won't get to perform with a lot of the great people from 12K, but am excited about my new group, Bangs (which is a group of awesomely hilarious people). We will be performing on Tuesday Nights at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Check out show dates and reserve tickets here.
